Your Guide to Group Fitness at Western Racquet & Fitness Club

If you’ve ever peeked into a group fitness class at Western mid-session and gotten FOMO, we don’t blame you. At Western, group fitness is more than just a workout. It’s music that gets you moving, instructors who cheer you on, and a community full of people who are smiling, sweating, and showing up together.

With over 50 classes on our regular schedule (plus pop-ups, Premier Classes, and special events), there’s something for everyone, whether you're a lifelong gym lover or just figuring out what a “burpee” is.

Not sure where to start? Don’t worry. This guide will walk you through everything you need to know, from why group fitness is so popular here to how to find your perfect class. Let’s find your new favorite workout!

Why try group fitness?

The Community Vibe

There’s just something special about sweating it out alongside others. At Western, our group fitness community is thriving, welcoming, and full of good vibes. You’ll meet people who cheer you on, share your goals, and maybe even become your new workout buddies. (Warning: side effects may include high-fives and inside jokes.)

The Variety

Yoga? Cycle? TRX? Barre? We’ve got it. No matter what your fitness goals are—strength, endurance, flexibility, or just moving your body more—there’s a class to match. The wide range of classes also allows you to step outside of your comfort zone and try something new!

The Workout That Works for You

Total beginner? Seasoned lifter? Somewhere in between? Our classes are built for every level. If you're here to build strength, boost endurance, find your zen, or just dance it out on a Tuesday, there’s a class (and a killer playlist) waiting for you. Instructors offer modifications and suggestions so you can make each workout your own.

Acountability + Motivation = Success

It’s a lot harder to ghost your workout when your favorite instructor is expecting you and your workout buddy is saving your spot on the floor. Group fitness helps you stay on track, push a little harder, and have fun while you’re doing it

What classes do you offer?

Short answer: a lot. Long answer: keep reading.

Whether you're into heavy-hitting boxing, slow-flowing yoga, high-energy dance, or low-impact strength work, there's a group fitness class at Western Racquet with your name on it. We offer over 50 weekly classes across a wide range of styles, intensities, and vibes. It’s kind of like a fitness buffet: try a little of everything, then come back for seconds of your favorites.
